Man that ending had me feeling sad. I'm literally almost crying now even though the ending was a happy one. Why? I dunno. Looking back on the movie, it's very predictable. It's very similar to Free Willy, which was a movie that I loved and cried at the ending at when I was a kid.

The effects range from ok to something that was ok in the 90's. Despite it's problems, it's still a fun yet emotional movie that knows how to move it's audience. And it's very clever about it too.
