Review of Fury (2014) by The3Academysins — 30 Jun 2018
Fury is a gripping, sometimes touching, sometimes fun WWII film that follows an American tank crew across Germany in 1945. The characters and performances from the whole cast are great, and Brad Pitt and Shia LaBeouf give some of their best performances.
The story is a little unbelievable, but this movie truly is an action movie, rather than trying to say something deep about WWII. The biggest flaw of Fury is that some scenes drag on way too long, and it feels like it pads the runtime, rather than truly finding meaning in the quiet moments.
All in all, it's a fun movie to watch and not think too hard about.
