Review of Midway (1976) by Okuz A — 02 Jul 2009
With its stellar cast, it's easy to tell where half the budget went. Even in the non-action scenes, they use stock footage in the background with actors in the foreground. It's a big-budget war film for Christ's sake! The Japs even speak English more articulately than most Americans in this film.
What a joke! "Tora! Tora! Tora!" was released 6 years PRIOR to this, and its battle sequences hold up to this very day. SCREW THIS FILM!
