We saw the remake first which is REALLY good - This is the original by the same director in german and subtitled - It follows the original script to the letter - We liked the remake better principally because the two boys were far more convincing and sinister - Still an excellent film depicting the mental torture given by the 2 sociopaths on the family and getting their kicks doing it.
