I don't care if it's cliched or that the plot may be a little bit predictable, if you think over what the story is about, you'll see the beauty of this movie. Hilary Swank played the role of a young idealistic teacher trying to reform students from being impossibly hopeless, angry teenagers into seeing the beauty of life.

that indeed was very noble of her. the movie makes you want to be kind, respect begets respect. this movie is a classic, i'm guessing this has been shown in many classes already. it has indeed shown humanity.
