Review of Freedom Writers (2007) by Angiee D — 26 Feb 2016
OPINION :One thing I like about the movie Freedom Writers is that it is a really good movie. It has attention and emotional scene I dislike how they blamed a African American for a shooting and he didn't do.
SUMMARY :The movie is about high school freshmen who are in this English class for the first time and most don't really get along because of gang and race relations. A teacher really tries to teach the students. She takes them to field trips and buy them things and the students actually want to learn.
ACTING: The main character was the actress Hillary Swank. She very believably portrayed a teacher. Patrick Dempsey plays Mrs. Gruwell's husband. He was a good husband but then started to change when his wife became a teacher. .April played Eva Benitez, a Latina girl who's going through a tough time.
CINEMATOGRAPHY : :The story of Freedom Writers was successful because it was shot nicely in California at a high school They really got every angle and scene good like where like the Mexican cholo guys try to shoot the African American men but shoots this asian guy on accident.
Music: I would like to describe the music as a hype type of music that makes people have energy. My opinion about the music is yes I like the type of music they have in the movie because I listen to that type of music sometimes.
