Dont believe the hype, nyby's the thing from another world was far more groundbreaking. as for special effects, harryhausen's works or the theif of baghdad had way more impressive special effects for the time.
this was a well produced awful b movie. also, leslie neilsen looked different but he sounded exactly the same.
