Review of Forbidden games (2015) by Shane K — 23 Jul 2007
First and foremost, the children in this movie are spectacular. This is what child acting can and should be instead of having to endure the Dakota Fannings of the world. This movie starts off very strong with very potent and well-hewn scenes, gets a bit lost in the middle but finishes with one of the most memorable and heart-breaking endings I've ever seen.
On top of everything else, there's nothing contrived about what happens here - the feelings, reactions and interplay are remarkably authentic.
