Review of First Man (2018) by Rieve S — 14 Oct 2018
Neil Armstrong was a very private person who was never comfortable in the limelight. This movie tells us more about his personal life but I wonder just how accurate the facts are. One wonders if this directorial license and dramatization or is it fact.
The movie came across as somewhat dark to me. It did not have an uplifting sense about it as did Ron Howard's Apollo 13 predecessor. At the end I walked out of the theater somewhat depressed feeling.
