Perfectly balanced between visually impressive (and very tense)flying and drama scenes, First Man is another proof that Damien Chazelle is a brillant filmmaker. Deciding to not centralized the story particularly on the Apollo mission and the aftermath, the director managed to highlight the personnal life of Neil Amstrong and his family.
The acting is very good overall (mention to Claire Foy and Ryan Gosling), the score is excellent, and the last 30 minutes are amazing...
