An excellent film in every respect. The mix of action (in the space sequences) and the human drama of armstrong's personal life are INTRICATELY balanced and very effective. I am especially impressed with how the film depicted the constant loss that pervaded the early space program and the effect that both professional and private grief had on the stoic armstrong.
the lead actor did an amazing job of depicting without overt dialog the complexity of a very internally focused man. Excellent.
