The movie is very well done. The acting is phenomenal. It's very moving to get the background of Neil. Having grown up during the race to the moon, everything seemed so smooth and amazing. This movie shows reality of how dangerous it all really was.
The three who died in Apollo 1, it brought back the profoundly sad feelings I felt as a child, but. First Man showed us the wives and how it affected them, and Neil and the astronauts. Gosling blows me away.
His acting is incredibly powerful. Claire Foy is powerful. The score is great. Go see.
