Review of Final Justice (1984) by Tim S — 21 Aug 2013
Oh boy. Here we go again with another Joe Don Baker stinker. Final Justice tells the story of a small town sheriff whom, after seeing his partner shot, arrests the Italian man responsible and escorts back to his home country for trial.
The man escapes with the help of his goons and we spend the rest of the movie watching Joe Don Baker rough people up, kill people and be reprimanded by the local police. It's kind of a terrible movie with a lead character as about as relatable as a bedpan.
The movie does have some unintentional comedy in it, but not enough of it. It mainly just meanders all over the place. Thankfully, the crew at Mystery Science Theater 3000 help that cause though. This is not a movie that I'd recommend in any way other than seeing the MST3K episode, which I feel is one of their best overall.
