Review of Fast and Furious (1924) by Eric C — 15 Apr 2013

I've finally got around to watching this film, years after it was first released. I was a big fan of the first film and was a bit disappointed with the 2nd film. The 3rd film pretty much made me leave the franchise as all it was, was an over budgeted car commercial with hip hop music and women in tight clothes(come on people it gets old). After seeing Fast Five and how awesome it was it made me interested in the franchise again and I just splurged on getting all the DVD's to watch this film.

It was great to see the first cast back and taking off where part 1 left off. The action sequences are pretty cool, even if some of them are ridiculous. I loved seeing Diesel, Walker, Brewster and Rodriguez back as it reminded me why I liked the first film. I'm glad to see the franchise bought back to what it once was and with Fast Five giving it a whole new lease with the heist theme I think it could stay until Part 7 or even 8, unless Universal screws it up by being impatient.
