Review of Farewell My Concubine (1993) by Anna G — 27 Jun 2007
Probably one of the best Hong Kong films I have seen. It is very interesting and covers some key historical events in China during the 20th century. It may be a bit biased against socialism, but does a decent job with the revolution.
I thought the WWII sequences were well done, and the costumes, characters and story make this a terrific film.
