Review of Fantasia (2004) by Hiatt N — 18 May 2014
A magnificent collection of imagery and ideas. There are certain sections that I do not personally like (the ballet sequence, for one), but when I talk to others, I find that the sequences I don't like are their favourites.
Therefore, to critique these sections is foolish: Fantasia is more than animation and music, it is a summation of the artistic spirit, truly the '2001' of animated films.
