Review of Blade Runner (1982) by Hiatt N — 12 Mar 2014
Neo-noir science fiction is not a hard sell for me to begin with, but 'Blade Runner' flew far beyond my wildest hopes. A magnificent film, it remains one of the richest movie experiences of all time: it's a massive exploration of every theme sci-fi could ever dream of covering.
It is beautiful, tragic, and transcends description and concept, passing into the world of perfect cinematic achievement.
