Review of Fanny and Alexander (1982) by Eric D — 19 Dec 2013

I'm in awe at how good this film was. It did take about a half hour or so for me to get into the story (but even before then it was still interesting because of the setting being in Sweden in the early 1900's).

Once I got to know the characters, time really flew by even though the film was over five hours in length. I'm glad I opted to watch the longer television cut.
