Review of Fading Gigolo (2013) by Marcin P — 17 May 2014
This won't appeal to everyone, but then not everyone is a Woody Allen type movie aficionado. If you are, you'll like this one. I thoroughly enjoyed a quiet little film romp through a postmodern New York City.
The ideas behind the character of this fading gigolo are very simple, but true and appropriate for our time of loneliness and emotional distance. Turturro did a fine job on his second movie. I left the theater with a smile on my face and a feeling very light-heated and comfortably happy.
