Review of Fading Gigolo (2013) by Ricky W — 19 Mar 2017
I remember John Turturro best from 2 movies, "Do The Right Thing" and "Barton Fink." I am also a fan of Woody Allen movies. So when I heard about this movie written and directed by Turturro which featured both of them I was eager to see it.
I was not disappointed. A charming little story about a bookstore owner and his employee who are down on their luck. Allen convinces Turturro to become a gigolo in order to make money. They do very well until they are confronted by a group of Orthodox Jews of which Allen is a member.
