Review of Factotum (2005) by Basin C — 12 Oct 2006
Matt Dillon is such a great actor, just throw him a decent character and he'll play it like he owns it. Here he plays Charles Bukowski's alter ego Henry "hank" Chinaski, a low life alcoholic who has dreams of becoming a writer, so in between finding his dreams he goes from job to job and has meaningless flings with like minded women.
This film has a lovely slow sombre pace, I love films like this where nothing really huge happens just like real life.
