This is a definite must-see and a peek into the life based on Charles Bukowski, one of more important writer of our generation. Matt Dillon should have received an Oscar for his very powerful performance as Henry Chinaski, Bukowski's alter-ego.
This movie is not your run of the mill-night for the family movie. It deserves introspection, some critical appreciation for what is dark and seedy, and the unyielding nature of life as it presses or depresses all of our yearnings and desires.
