As far as I'm concerned, this is Kubrik's best film, besides 2001. A controversial statement, I'm sure, but the "I told you so" I'm looking to cash in on in 15 years or so (the usual turnaround schedule for critics of Kubrik's more adventurous films) is gonna be pretty sweet.
