Review of Eyes Wide Shut (1999) by Sydmwswy — 12 May 2022
This is one of Kubrick's best films too : and indeed one of the best films to follow the example of Dr. Caligari. Kubrick removes the abnormal parts of the shining, smoothes the rhythm, which is successful, but a lot of chickens in the film gives the same shining result that Kubrick could certainly have left it behind in his next film.
