Review of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004) by Andrew K — 21 Oct 2017
An interesting concept for a very uninteresting movie. Why they thought to cast Jim Carey in a very serious role in a serious movie I have no idea. This movie is listed as a drama, romantic comedy and sci-fi movie, a tri-blend in which it fails to be likeable in each genre.
It's not funny, aside from the memory loss there's not any sci-fi, and the romance is nothing special. Pretentious critics (and I guess film-goers?) may like it but otherwise don't bother.
