Review of Dunkirk (2017) by Movee F — 10 Aug 2017
It's been a few weeks since Dunkirk was released. I have since seen in three times, all three in IMAX. Not only was it immersive as a war film, but it was also an innovative way to tell the story. The suspense was effective, and even though we never got backstory on the characters, we got to watch their actions show their development and who they were.
It's an all around beautiful film. My only criticism I suppose is that the soundtrack should have taken a few moments a little bit more lightly. Aside from that, I loved Dunkirk whole-heartedly, and has joined the ranks of my favorite films.
