Review of Hart's War (2002) by Bruce L — 29 Jul 2009
Sure, it's kind of watchable.
But, none of the reviewers pointed out the glaring, major flaws throughout: IT IS TOTALLY IMPLAUSIBLE!
Remember when we were in the german p.o.w. camp, and the commandant:
- let us have our own trial?
- put on a play (and have access to the playhouse) without armed guards standing by?
- let the highest ranking p.o.w. walk into his office whenever he wanted? left an easily assembled luger on his desk, within reach of said p.o.w.? that the p.o.w. then handed back the gun?
- let the black pilot keep his (spanking new looking) pilot's jacket on throughout his imprisonment?
- let 35 escapees off the hook because the senior ranking p.o.w. 'accepted full responsibility'?
What are these writers thinking? (that's a rhetorical question).
