Review of Duck Soup (1933) by Vijay L — 30 Nov 2010
Works much better as a sketch show than as a movie. Duck soup is an absurd movie that highlights the utterly absurd (and hilarious) humour of the Marx brothers - the out-of-place abrasive one-liners of Groucho and the lunatic slapstick of Harpo in particular.
Actually making it a movie reduces its charm somewhat.
