The realism makes it insanely creepy. Some of the death scenes were extremely hard to watch. It also flips back and forth between carnage in the city and the relative quiet in the bunker with shocking contrast.
Terrifying. The characters are all excellent. Unfortunately all those parodies make the dramatic moments funny...
