Review of Downfall (2004) by Izebhokhae S — 29 Dec 2017
Compelling story, very well performed, especially Mr Ganz whose portrayal of Hitler ably captures his maniacal mood swings. Somehow, or for some reason,, intentional or otherwise, a measure of sympathy is developed for the general population and many of the characters.
The reality, of course, is the the nation of Germany pretty much got a free pass for humanitarian crimes that make ISIS seem like a bunch of choir boys.
