Review of Down in the Valley (2005) by Ice R — 16 Aug 2009
Strange and Woody Allen-esque, this film twists the white-hat cowboy character from old Westerns while keeping all the gun-slinging violence. Jacobson gets caught up in the fantasy one character has created for himself rather than exploring the idea of running away from the identity one was born into, the deeper idea and more interesting part of the story.
