Review of Going Steady (1979) by Adam R — 12 Jan 2011
'tis hardly conceivable, but Kaleena and I watched this together, wanting to get the most of the 50 movie pack I'd spent my Christmas money on. What a strange experience... a badly dubbed teen comedy of the 70s made in Israel, bringing with it all the staples of its American counterparts: dumb pratfalls, a chubby sidekick, betrayals and double-crosses among friends, budding romance.
In the end, it's not that funny and not that engaging. But it'll pass if you really need something to do on a lazy Sunday.
