Review of Down in the Valley (2005) by Nicole M — 27 Dec 2011
I found this movie at a store for 99 cents...so I didnt expect much, but I was really surprised. Norton, of course, gives a great performance as an out of sorts cowboy who has no ranch to call home. Tobe finds him working at a gas station and asks him to come along with her to the beach, starting a strong emotional connection between them.
Tobe's father doesnt approve of him at all and demands her to stop seeing him. The actors really do a good job pulling this movie together up untill it gets about to the end, then it seems to drag a bit but the ending makes up for it.
Still overall a great movie.
