OK, officially, I don't get the Jarmusch style. There, I said it. I marginally enjoyed "Mystery Train" and most of "Coffee and Cigarettes" but every other Jarmusch I've seen (including this one, "Broken Flowers" and "Dead Man") just simply bore me into submission.
Maybe it's the lack of plot or character development. Maybe it's the static camera. I'm a patient filmwatcher, but Jarmusch almost always makes me check my watch after the five minutes. Rant over.
