Review of Down by Law (1986) by Elvia F — 05 Oct 2008
I didn't like it as much as I liked Stranger Than Paradise, but I'm also thinking of giving this flick a second viewing before I ultimately decide. The cinematography is fucking beautiful, and once again the framing of the shots are perfect.
John Lurie and Tom Waits are fun to watch, and Roberto Benigni is great at portraying a mostly innocent foreigner.
