Review of Dinner at Eight (1933) by K D — 21 Jul 2008
I found this movie to be enjoyable most of the time... there were a few scenes that seemed to be drawn out and I was surprised that the actual dinner party took only around eight minutes out of the entire film.
Interesting cast of characters though, and the intermingling of several storylines helped the plot. I enjoyed the Beery/Harlow scenes the most. They were performed terrifically and really gave the film it's life.
