Review of Dinner at Eight (1933) by Ashley H — 12 Oct 2016
Dinner at Eight is an excellent film. It is about social butterfly Mrs. Oliver Jordan who arranges a dinner party that will benefit the business of her husband. Marie Dressler and John Barrymore give amazing performances.
The screenplay is well written. George Cukor did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed watching this motion picture because of the humor. Dinner at Eight is a must see.
