Review of Dinner at Eight (1933) by Brandon K — 25 May 2012
Standard melodrama. Not sure why this is such a classic. Aside from some clever lines (especially the final line!), this film is pretty stage-bound stuff. Watching a bunch of rich people going on about their supposed difficulties doesn't make for much in the way of entertainment.
