Review of Detour (1992) by Alex B — 16 Nov 2008
It's low budget, it was shot in about a week, but it's just great. It also has the still-not-to-be-outdone scariest femme fatale ever captured on film. Ann Savage is brutal, yet alluring. Sure there are holes and such, but it's a cornerstone of film noir and rivals all those shot with bigger production costs and the backing of big studios.
