Deepwater Horizon tells the story of the BP oil spill that lasted 87 days in the Gulf of Mexico, in 2010. Directed by Peter Berg & Starring Mark Wahlberg & Kurt Russell, this film is how on that fateful night in April 2010 the workers on Deepwater Horizon oil rig tried to survive the horrific pressure build up in their drill pipe line.
BP executives failed at reading the pressure amount in the lines which led to the biggest oil disaster in US history. A sad tale of 11 men that lost their lives all in the name of greed. This story needed to be told & i'm glad it was.
