DEEPWATER HORIZON surprisingly does and an admirable job at documenting the 2010 oil-liner disaster. Rather than focusing on blockbuster chaos, the film of effectively illustrates all the lesser-known one-day details that led up to the catastrophe.
Great casting and a well-written script, keep the film from ever becoming boring and hardly does it become a TITANIC replica that mistakenly appeared to be its destiny.
