Review of Deepwater Horizon (2016) by David A — 28 Feb 2018
Intense, realistic, and gripping; "Deepwater Horizon" frighteningly and successfully dives its audience into the lives of men and women who survived the oil spill that rocked the nation. John Malkovich shines as the BP villain who everyone want to either punch them in the face or kill them.
The directing was top notch and the director deserves all the credit for building the suspense throughout the movie. It's unbelievable that something like this has happened. Scary stuff.
