It was better than I expected? But then again I had no hoped at all. Loved the manga and enjoyed the anime. This was just a sad twist on the plot I loved and not a good one. And my favorite character Ryuk was really just a voice in the background with no real anything.
Oh well. They had a great idea to work with and just blew it.
