Imho, not as funny as the American remake. But is highly debatable by anyone as to which version is better. I viewed the remake first, so I don't know if that affects my opinion at all.
However, this is a great example in comparing American to British humor. There were differences in this version to set it apart from the American remake. Fun, quirky film, both versions should be in any film watchers collection. Will be known as a cult classic film in the future, both versions.
This is a great example in which this is one of the few times that the original and remake are both excellent works of art.
