Review of Dear White People (2014) by Cameron J — 15 Jan 2015
This one gets a thumbs up for talking honestly about race in America today. Unfortunately, it plays like a lesser 80's teen comedy. Justin Dobies and Tessa Thompson have a nice chemistry the movie should have made more use of.
And I don't know how to feel about the well-meaning but tired way Dear White People treats its gay character.
