Review of Dead Space: Downfall (2008) by Kit G — 26 Feb 2009

I enjoyed this film for what it was, a disgusting alien gore fest. My complaint are many. First of all the animation looked like the ninja turtles from the 1980's Cartoon TV show, there was way too much gore, and the voice acting was mediocre at best. Still it had a very interesting and engaging story, cool premise, after a while I got that it was the prequel to he game so that was a cool tie in.

In terms of the gore I mean, I hate large amounts of gore, I think that they detract from a the visuals of the story and this had way too much gore. Slightly predictable, but overall not a bad animated movie.

Wish it had been CG graphics or at least a more realistic style of animation.

But cool.
