Review of Dead Poets Society (1989) by Rodrigo G — 29 Oct 2011

I watched this film many years ago for a school project. I was surprised by the uplifting spirit and the themes that urged me to be unique and exploit my individuality as a student. Today, almost 16 years later, I watched it again, but from a different perspective.

I am now a high school teacher, teaching at the exact same school where I studied 16 years ago. It meant a whole lot to me. Maybe I'm standing right now on my desk, observing the world from another point of view, paying tribute to my beloved teachers, and trying to do what I think is best for my students.
