Review of Dead Poets Society (1989) by Yash B — 18 Mar 2018
"Dead Poets Society" is a heartfelt film that really hits you where it counts. The film showcases some fantastic performances and exceptional dialogue. Robin Williams is excellent in a supporting role that may be one of his best.
The rest of the cast does great too and they really make you invested in all of their problems. I think all of the conflict portrayed in the film can be relatable on some level and the bond between the characters is genuine.
This movie hits an intense emotional stride in its final act and I found myself in tears on multiple occasions. It's one of those movies that reminded me of how movies can truly impact a viewer. The film is one of the greats that shouldn't be missed by anyone, plain and simple.
