One of the greatest coming-of-age and high school-based films of all time. Great and underrated acting by Robin Williams and a wonderful script. It is so strange to see a very young Ethan Hawke in the film and see that he had a lot of talent as the insecure and shy Todd Anderson.

I have to mention the script once again because it was superb and definitely deserving of the Academy Award it won. Dead Poets Society also captured 1950s New England very well, as well as the pressure schoolboys were under to succeed but not necessarily learn anything and enjoy the process.

Seize the day and watch this great film!
