Review of Dead Poets Society (1989) by Yolando P — 28 Jan 2013
This generally overrated drama about an inspirational unconventional teacher of a New England prep school has a great central character, but is really nothing we haven't seen before, and even offers a cheesy and unrealistic ending so as not to disappoint its viewers.
However, the Robin Williams performance is great, and the direction of some sequences certainly makes the film worth watching.
